Our faces have the most sensitive skin of all and also contain a lot of live skin cells.
The skin on our faces can be very sensitive to the touch, and any pain or discomfort experienced when touching it can be a warning sign. Also of course our faces are what we tend to look at the most when we peer into the mirror each day, so we’re more likely to pick up skin changes here than anywhere else.
So keep an eye out for the following:
- change is skin color
- increase in skin dryness or extra moisture
- any patches or blemishes
- sudden appearance moles or lesions
If you notice any of these, then it would be a good idea to get them checked out by your doctor – sooner rather than later.
